We sent a Yanomami to 20 Oscar nominees and had our voices heard by 200 million Brazilians.

In 2023, illegal gold mining in the Amazon made Brasil face its worst humanitarian crisis. Our biggest indigenous community, the Yanomami, was on the brink. They were stolen from, killed, poisoned, and raped. But never listen. So we gave them a voice. In partnership with Urihi, a Yanomami NGO, we showed the world the real cost of gold. All we had to do, was to take it off the Oscars.

We created an alternative to the 24k gold Oscars of the Academy. A replica. But with Omama. The warrior god who protects the Yanomami. First, we invited the nominees to receive our alternative. Then, we sent our statuette to the winners. We sent 24 statuettes to the nominees, and had our voices heard by over 250 million people.
